What is TechniMat?

TechniMat is Gecko Media's own purpose-engineered material, developed specifically for high-performance branded surfaces. It's a three-layer construction that delivers superior print quality and practical durability — purpose built for surfaces that need to look great and last long on a busy desk.

Layer 1 — Clear Vinyl Protective Film The top surface is a tough, transparent vinyl film that protects your printed design from spills, abrasion, and the daily wear of desk life. Fully wipeable and easy to clean, it keeps your artwork crisp and vivid without any degradation in colour or detail over time.
Layer 2 — Cotton Fabric Print Layer Beneath the protective film lies the heart of TechniMat — a tightly knit cotton fabric substrate that holds ink exceptionally well. Cotton's natural fibre structure produces full colour prints with fine detail, accurate colour reproduction, and a rich, warm aesthetic that sets it apart from standard polyester or PVC print surfaces. Bold logos, photographic imagery, fine typography — TechniMat renders it all with clarity and precision.
Layer 3 — Non-Slip Vinyl Base The underside is a non-slip vinyl base that grips any desk surface firmly. No sliding, no repositioning, no pad that shifts every time you reach for the mouse. It stays exactly where you put it, all day long.
