Cork Mousepads

Good for your desk. Good for the planet.
In a world of synthetic materials and single-use promotions, cork stands apart. It's one of nature's most remarkable materials — harvested without cutting down a single tree, naturally antimicrobial, biodegradable, and quietly beautiful on any desk. A cork mousepad doesn't just carry your brand. It carries a message about the kind of company you are.
Why Cork?
Cork is harvested from the bark of cork oak trees — a process that doesn't harm the tree at all. The bark regenerates naturally, and the same tree can be harvested repeatedly for over a century. No felling, no waste, no environmental cost. It's one of the most genuinely sustainable materials available in commercial production today.
But sustainability isn't the only reason to choose cork. It's also exceptionally practical on a desk:
Naturally repels dust, hair, and particles — cork has a slightly waxy, closed-cell surface that doesn't attract or trap debris the way fabric surfaces do. Your desk stays cleaner, and the pad stays looking fresher for longer.
Easy to clean and maintain — a quick wipe with a damp cloth is all it takes. No special cleaners, no drying time, no fuss.
Biodegradable — at the end of its life, a cork mousepad returns to the earth without leaving a trace. The same cannot be said for neoprene, PVC, or plastic-laminated alternatives.
Naturally beautiful — cork has a warm, organic aesthetic that looks at home in contemporary offices, co-working spaces, and executive desks alike. It's a material that communicates quality and thoughtfulness without saying a word.
Construction
Each cork mousepad pairs a natural cork upper surface with a vulcanised rubber base — two natural materials working together to deliver a pad that performs as well as it looks.
The cork surface provides a smooth, consistent tracking surface for your mouse while maintaining the natural warmth and texture that makes cork so visually distinctive. It accepts branding cleanly and holds its appearance over time.
The vulcanised rubber base anchors the pad firmly to the desk. Vulcanisation — the process of treating rubber with heat and sulphur — dramatically enhances the rubber's elasticity, grip, and durability, ensuring the pad stays flat and planted through years of daily use.
One natural characteristic worth noting: vulcanisation can occasionally result in minor surface variations or a faint white film on the underside of the pad. This is entirely normal, harmless, and has no effect whatsoever on the cork surface or branding above. Any residue can be easily removed with mild soap and a soft damp cloth.
Branding on Cork
Cork accepts branding beautifully. The warm, natural tone of the surface lends itself particularly well to laser engraving — producing a clean, precise burn mark that contrasts elegantly against the cork grain. The result is a refined, premium finish that feels more like a craft product than a corporate giveaway.
Full colour printing is also available for brands that require vivid colour reproduction or detailed artwork.
